Astrophotography Course
Dates: Preparatory Sessions- April 19-20, 2025 on Zoom & Field Sessions-April 25-26-27, 2025 at Vil. Kathi, Tal.Patan-Satara.
Charges per head:
Rs. 8700/- – Non Members
Rs. 8400/- Members
(Fees include accommodation, transport, food, breakfast during the course)
One will Learn:
- Star-trail, Milky Way, Time lapse, Widefield photography.
- Planetary, Solar as well as Deep Sky Photography
- On field imaging techniques and post processing
- Mobile Photography
- Lunar Imaging
JVP Will Provide:
- Telescopes for imaging during the course
- Open Source Sofrwares for Processing
- Accommodation(Dormitory type/Sharing and may include mattress)
- Food(Veg), Tea/Coffee
- Transportation to Site from Pune & back

What is the expected age group?
Minimum 10th Standard(16 years) and above
Is it necessary to bring own camera? Yes. If you don’t own a Camera, we can connect you to shops in Pune to rent Cameras.
How many sessions are there?
Preparatory sessions Zoom Meeting will be conducted on Saturday 19, & Sunday 20 April 2025.
Field Exercise departure will be on Friday, Apr 25th, 1:00 pm & return to Pune from Field session on Sunday, Apr 27th; 1:00 pm.
Is it cold & Do I need to wear shoes? Yes
