JVP’s Kesariwada Observation Facility was inaugurated by the hands of Prof Ajit Kembhavi, on April 8, 2015. This observatory facilitates JVP members to take scientific observations of Variable Stars, Asteroid Occultations, Comets, Lunar Occultations, Deep Sky Objects and is often utilized for BSc, Msc and Phd Projects.

Apart from a fixed observatory at Kesariwada, JVP is also equipped with a mobile occultation observation setup, which inlcudes multiple telescopes and RunCams with GPS Time inserts, for observing occultations occuring in different parts of India, JVP also acts as an official coordinator organization to IOTA-India Chapter.
