JVP has setup a observatory facility at Kesariwada, Pune (18.516° N; 73.849° E).

Small Radio Telescope for solar observation:
Dr. B. C. Joshi (Scientist, National Center for Radio Astronomy & Life member of JVP) has designed Small Radio Telescope (For details click here) using DTH television satellite dish antenna. Members of JVP has built this telescope for radio obsevation of sun.
