| After independence of India; Government of India invited some of the astronomical experts for making Indian Solar Calendar. It is authorised solar calendar regularly published by Government of India. Vice-president of Jyotirvidya Parisanstha, Mr. J. S. Karandikar was appointed on Indian Solar Calendar Committee (भारतीय पंचांग समिती) and Secretary of JVP, Prof. M. L. Chandratreya was appointed on Standing Astronomical Board (स्थायी ज्योतिष्यक समिती). |
